newbie
hello
my name is kevin i just joined up on here not two weeks ago. i own a 63 fleetside longbed big window. its a california truck that has been beatin to death. my plans for this truck is to put a 572 in it that has around 750-900 hp it also is going to be a straight up racer for all those little imports that want to start something. it need alot of work so any pointers and places to get parts for cheap would help. hopefully this will be a good site for help. thanks for putting up a good site peace out

Big Blue ( John ) 79 Chevy Pick up.....My Dailey STILL Working on a frame up: 1987 Truck body on a 78 Blazer frame. Need cab blasted to start project. Got the cab BLASTED, Now Prep and Paint. Started to lay SOME BONDO and primer. Done, Ordering paint. Got paint, Stuff painted,Cab,Fenders, Hood more later. 9/7/2015 Got the clear coat on,now time to take one off. Started to put things back (What a nightmare) like the heating and AC stuff,inside wire harness, outside AC unit and booster, still more. May 2016, still working on the inside. Got duck work in,heating and AC. Radio (stock) in dash with after market in console later, Speaker are hooked up, Steering column is in. Getting ready to drop the cab onto the frame, Working on engine now since I have the room. Well here it is 2018, got the engine in and it runs, now I need to get the exhaust system in so I can adjust the lifters, to loud right now. Got the exhaust on now I am waiting for the break parts to come in. |

thanks guys for the welcome guys
i have another car as well as the 63 longbed the other car is a almost mint 1989 cadillac endloader hearse i also have a hobby the hobby is model car building i am a vary fond builder and my weakness in the hobby is any 60-66 chevy/gmc truck as well as the ocasional cadillac kit i will post up pics of the hearse and my models when the weather allows me to right now its cold and windy the low is supposed to be 49 degrees and the winds are 50mph with gusts of 60mph + god i love living in so cal
