Please:::::::> What Kind Of Valve Is This?
The PO installed this valve in the water line running from the radiator to heater.
Fixing the system is a project for down the road... right now the valve is corroded and stuck open and I need to replace it. But what the heck is it called & what size do you think it is? |

while it isn't stock, it IS taking the place of a stock one.
The photo shows an A/C truck, and right there is supposed to be a valve that is controlled by engine vac, that shuts off coolant flow when the A/C is kicked on. |

you can fix that valve. Unscrew the part on top just under the handle. Pull the guts out, clean it up a little, replace the orings or gaskets, and you should be good to go.

That's either a 5/8" or 3/4" ID hose. Just take it off and go to your local harware store. You should be able to find a brass or black iron one for around $5-10.
