Just Finished

After reading posts on this forum I decided to go for it. Installed rebuilt engine and trans. All went good. Thanks to all who posted questions and answners on this forum. here are before and after pics. Next is lift and paint.

Painting the engine, doesn't make it rebuilt...... Just kidding . Looks good. Wishing you many miles of trouble free service.

I'm getting ready to pull the 383 engine out of my 70 today and install a milder, rebuilt 350 engine.

Thanks guys for the response. And BraveDave if it is not a daily driver and you have the time, replaceing engine and trans can be done with little experance and the help of the info on this forum. Just take your time. It gets hard when you hurry and feel pressure to get it done. Just walk away when things start to go wrong and start over latter.

I'm impressed - a very good example of how this board can help you along. I have attempted a lot of stuff I wouldn't have done were it not for the resources here. BTW, Gary, seeing what you did inspires a lot of us guys. Post more pix when you get the paint!
