Bed fill or Side fill - picture request
Hey guys, I'm fixin' to start tackling my LQ4 swap in my 69' short fleet and I've decided to hit the fuel issue first.
I'm going to order an ECE unit, but am undecided on where to locate the fill. I originally planned doing a bed fill, but I'll be using the truck as a truck so I'm considering all alternatives. I've seen the threads on the tail light and side marker mods, which are awesome, I'd just like to see what else is out there and be able to compare directly. Thanks in advance! |

haysonj - that looks sharp, good work!
This is a photo from a bed fill that project that a member here on the board did a few years back (can't remember who it was or I'd give props). I have the entire build document with photos, if you're interested PM and I'll forward to ya. Cheers, Jimbo

I cut mine from a s10 from a junk yard. Just make sure to line up the filler hose to the tank before you cut. remember measure twice cut once. Just my 2 cents and i tear drop my old filler for a power antenna.
