I have to stop looking at craigslist...there are just too many good deals out there. Not mine but would be a nice addition to the HERD! Don't look Andy!

Re: '72 Longhorn C30...68k Original Miles
The mysterious 3.90 ratio pops out again? I can't imagine why there would be a 3.90 ratio which is soo close numerically the well known 4.10. A simple slightly larger tire size would do the same trick to get the 4.10 to behave like a 3.90. I would love to see factory documentation on this ratio.

Re: '72 Longhorn C30...68k Original Miles
A good candidate for a tu tone paint job? White looks like too generic of a color today. I would do a tu tone or deluxe tu tone in a contrasting period color.

Re: '72 Longhorn C30...68k Original Miles
^I am totally surprised to hear you say that.I had you pegged for a leave`em original guy.I`d have a hard time altering such a prime example of the most evolved Longhorn. If I had that truck it would have to remain "per SPID".I can handle a wheel/tire change. But,it would have to be what could have been back then.I think that thing looks great in white with the trim and all.Hardly comparable to the dime a dozen generic look-alike new trucks in white.
The 3.90:1 ratio was aftermarket,right?

Re: '72 Longhorn C30...68k Original Miles
Mind you, I did leave the comment about the color change with a question mark. All white is what I expect on a late model work truck, not what I was expecting on a cheyenne super from the early 70's.
