Black Buddy buckets for sale

I have a really nice set of Black Buddy buckets that I want to sell. They are in really nice shape having new stock covers installed before I bought them. They do have some work to be done buttoning up the rear porting of the covers but should be an easy fix, I just haven't tried to be honest. There is one lttle nick off the edging on the driver seat(can see in pic) and a very small 3/4" slice on the side of the drivers seat(will get pic of it) I have sand blasted the buddy seat box bottom and repainted it a satin black. I did not sand blast the frame as it was in great shape to start with. I just scuffed it up and wiped it down and shot some stain black on it as well. They look great in my truck and I love having the arm rest, but I am a taller guy @ 6' 3" and they sit a little high for my liking. So I am going to get a lowback bench from a 88-95 truck and modify the mounting brackets to get me in a more comfy position. I would like to do the mod to this seat, but I really do not want to destroy the value of them. I bought these from another member in Kansas, and another member Huck brought them home for me(and for that gesture of kindness he gets first dibs if he is interested in them) I do have a black tank carpet kit to go with the seats, but do not have the bumper bar for the back of the cab. I want $600 for the seats and the carpet kit(I gave $600 for the seats) If you are close enough and have a grey/black/red lowback bench from a 88-95 truck then I would be willing to do some trading on the seats. Shipping is not out of the question, but I would think that it would be way too costly to make the seats worth it, but that will be up to the buyer. I can help the buyer out with delivery(within 200 miles) for the cost of fuel. I can accept paypal or a us postal money order only. If you use paypal please include the 3% fees they charge for the transaction. This is a great deal on a very nice set of buddy buckets. These seats in used poor condition needing a total rebuild sell for $350 and up and you still need foam work and covers that cost another $300-500 and still have install all the parts yourself, and buy the carpet kit to go along with them. I will get better pics for tomorrow after work.....

Those are nice! Someone will be getting great deal. It's not hard to have over a grand in these seats.

Greyhound may be an option for shipping, is there one close enough to you?
If you LMK which one is closest to you I could try and get a quote this week.

I used their shipping quote and it looks like I can do the $750 shipped paid by paypal, depending on how much it will cost to get them boxed up. I am fairly certain they can go in one box assembled. I will get some accurate measure ments on them tomorrow and see if I can make the box for them fit Greyhounds dementions. I will PM you tomorrow afternoon.

If you look in this thread > Buddy Buckets for sale in Oklahoma < you'll see how Classic Bowties shipped some buckets. Just trying to figure it out.

Re: Black Buddy buckets for sale

Here are a couple of pics of the side and backs that need a little work. THe first pic is with the side pulled away to show you what needs to be done, and the second pic is what the sets will look like when the backs are finished up.Both seats, are like this and both will need that part finished. I haven't had it doen as I do not drive the truck much and as you can see from the second pic you can make them look great with just pusing the material up under the top part of the cover. I just wanted to make sure everybodys sees what I was referring to in my first post.

Re: Black Buddy buckets for sale

Thanks, I had bought a set of dodge buddy buckets with frame, but like it was said in the post it would've cost me close to the same kind of money to have those in good shape and they still would'nt be "real". Nice to have the "Real"thing!!! My truck is a "Frankenstein", so not trying to be a purist, but I would like to have the nicer options

Re: Black Buddy buckets for sale

Actually it has to do with your user status. If you look I'm BLUE I'm a site supporter. Byrd is Orange because his is a Supporter and also a vendor. You are Pink because you are only a registered member. If you Click on "FORUMS" at the top of the page then go to "site feedback and announcments" Then go to the section "site feedback and announcements" I believe it's the second one there is tell you what I've just mentioned. I will additionally try to add a link.. http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vboa....php?f=34&a=17

No I am orange because I am a volunteer on the site, all vendors are red. I do not vendor on the board as I only sell a couple of little trinkets and do not advertise that I sell them. I only offer them up when someone asks about them.
