neat truck though -- i like the buckets i would probably offer $5k and tell him to keep the LS motor

I for one, would keep the 6 , with a few vintage hop up parts. Selling that LS motor would go a long way towards a bed full of Clifford and Offenhauser parts, but to each their own

(an LS/4L80 combo would make for a good driver too)

Without reading it I saw the corvette and thought it was part of the deal I don't think it's worth the price he's asking. Maybe 5000 for everything.

less, since the trip from IN to AZ would kill me!! I'd buy the truck and roll it as is for $2-2500 but not more, just me.

That's what caught my eye. The engine and tranny alone are worth about 1500. I think that makes the rest of the deal very reasonable.
