pics of factory intakes and altenator brackets
i might be going back to the original intake on my 72 cheyenne. right now i have an edelbrock intake with the curved long skinny bracket that bolts into the front of the intake (a feature the original intake doesnt have). what does the original set up with a short water pump look like?

Re: pics of factory intakes and altenator brackets
This is the only picture of the stock alternator mount with a stock manifold on a 70 350 engine I have.
Hope it helps. Danny

Re: pics of factory intakes and altenator brackets
I think somebody just bolted it in the wrong place..... mines on my head and so was the one on my last truck.... both have aftermarket aluminum intakes. Try it and see if it works.... you may only need a shorter belt then.

Re: pics of factory intakes and altenator brackets
I think the ones with the fill tube are from the early and mid-60s 283s and 327s arent they?
