Re: 2008 seats swap
found this link.......http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...highlight=seat
so its the height of the 2008 mounting brackets that is going to be causing the headack in making it fit...... |

Re: 2008 seats swap
Yes, all of the later model GM trucks have a very tall bracket assembly. I won't say that it can't be done, but it will not work with the stock brackets. The hump in the 73-87 truck floor won't allow enough room to use those brackets.

Re: 2008 seats swap
Man those are some nice seats but I think you would be disappointed. I have an '08 chevy and the seats aren't really that comfortable. Now my dad has an '06 silverado with leather and his seats are way more comfortable than mine.
I'd say save your money for something else. $700.... Plus you dont need the rear seat.... I got my seats out of a 2002 ford escape for $50 a piece. I had to modify ONE leg of the seats and thats it. Check it... For $600 more I could wrap them in leather with aligator inserts (not that I will but I could) Just my 2 cents man... Oh and I'm about 1 hour from houston... |

Re: 2008 seats swap
Underdog i like the height of your headrests on the back. I was worried about that on the 2008 chevy seats.
