Has anyone used anything besides gator guard to re-apply the texture to a blazer top? I havent been able to find gator guard locally and im getting close to be ready to do my top.

Re: top refinishing
I just had my top redone and retextured it useing the paint gun. I turned the gun way down so the paint was kind of dripping out and just sprayed the texture I wanted then painted over it..

Yep, just like he said. They sell a tip to shoot truck spatter, that'd do it too, just don't think the pain too much and let it dry before giving it a solid coat of paint.
