I need a refresher course on weatherstripping
There was a great thread a while back about using later model weatherstripping that clips on instead of glues in place. Can someone elaborate on this subject please, cuz I can't find anything through the search..
Thanks!

Re: I need a refresher course on weatherstripping
You can use Astro van, full size Chevy truck, S-10, or any number of different vehicle weatherstripping. I have it in my '67. I wish I had done it on my '68. Grrrrrrr

Re: I need a refresher course on weatherstripping
Sorta. It's pretty wrinkly. I haven't decided if I'll continue and smooth all the wrinkles out with a 'custom patented process' or just rip it all out along with the glue and go the modern w'strip route.

Re: I need a refresher course on weatherstripping
I did this recently also. I got weatherstripping out of Chevy extended cab 4 door trucks. Not the crew cabs, but the extended cab 4 doors. The weatherstripping is all one peice and is long enough that you can cut the excess off. Works well, hope this helps.

Re: I need a refresher course on weatherstripping
We found that the Dodge Ram pickup wetherstrip works better than the S-10. It pushes on like the S-10 but you do not have to close your doors as hard. We have it in stock for $49.95 pair. WES

ClassicHearbeat- What year Dodge did you use it from? Did you also glue it in? Do you have any pics of it installed? Thanks.

Re: I need a refresher course on weatherstripping
No pics installed, however they are not glue in. They have a rubber coated metal channel just like the S-10s do. They just are not as heavy so you do not have to slam your door to get it to close. WES
