Vintage air Setup Question.
This is kind of an unusual question. I recently bought a sure fit evaporator kit from a board member that had bought it from another board member. It is just the evaporator kit with vents. It is new and never installed. However, the thought was that it was for an A.C. truck, when it really is for a non A.C. truck. THe Suburban is an original A.C. vehicle and uses the A.C. controls. Are the evaporators for non a/c trucks and A/c trucks the same from Vintage air, or are they set up differently due to the cable setups. Is it just that the Non A.C setups come with extra vents? The directions have instructions on how the non ac controls would work the system. So will the factory A/c controls work the evaporator? I really want to use the really nice A.C controls that came with the suburban. I would call Vintage air, but they aren't open today and I wanted to install the evaporator today. Anyone with any info would sure be appreciated! Thanks!
Shawn

Re: Vintage air Setup Question.
Shawn, I have put in a vin. air system and love it. I am not sure about your question but you might go to their web site and look. it is a good site and tells you part# for each one. Maybe you can figure it out by looking at the system you bought. good luck. Gary

Re: Vintage air Setup Question.
You're probably going to have the different evaporator or go to non-air controls. I'm by no means an expert but I have installed several of their surefit systems.
