Shocks for lowered trucks
I'm getting ready to buy some shocks for my lowered truck and I have a question for all you big brains...
Front has 2.5 inch drop spindles and 2 inch drop coils plus I've added the shock relocators Rear has 2 inch drop blocks and 4 inch drop coils and shock relocators Would I buy shocks to fit a 2 inch lowered front end and a 3 inch lowered rear? Thanks

Re: Shocks for lowered trucks
When I bought my 2.5/4 kit from ECE it came with KYB shocks. Give ECE a call and they can fix you up with some for your drop.

Re: Shocks for lowered trucks
If you know the stock lengths, call up summit and they can hook you up also with some Toxic's or whatever shocks you prefer. There was a thread I think last week about shocks on lowered trucks and what brands people preferred.

I personally would not use the Toxics, they seem not to hold up. I can get you DJMs or Bell Techs. Both are nice quality

Re: Shocks for lowered trucks
Regardless of the brand you choose to purchase for your truck, you need 2-inch lower shocks for the front due to the 2-inch coils. The spindles make no difference. And in the rear you will need 4-inch lower shocks to correspond to your 4-inch coils. Once again the blocks don't matter.

Spend the extra money and get the KYB's.

Re: Shocks for lowered trucks
I was planning on the KYBs. Really just curious about which ones.

Re: Shocks for lowered trucks
I'm running 4-1/2"/5" total drop using 2-1/2" drop spindles and running the stock length Monroe Sensa-trak shocks. The ride is very comfortable. I've used KYB's in the past and I thought they were too stiff. I don't recommend them anymore.
