Houndstooth: black & white or black and red?
I'm considering buying a hoodstooth seatcover in either black & white or black & red. This would be going in a Torch Red truck. I saw the thread from last week and would like to see more detailed pictures of your bench seats with either of the choices. I'm currently leaning toward a white vinyl with white & black houndstooth like shown below. It's just gorgeous! Show me your houndstooth benches!

Re: Houndstooth: black & white or black and red?
When you read it, the red and black sounds cool, but as soon as you see the white and black you know which one you need to get

Re: Houndstooth: black & white or black and red?
This is actually a tough choice.... the black and white seat looks killer but I'm not sure about it in a torch red truck...
Change my mind Brad!

Re: Houndstooth: black & white or black and red?
Red and black.Where`s the white coming from? Will there be white anywhere else on the truck? It`s not about which upholstery you like the most,it`s about what goes best with the color scheme. What color would the rest of the interior be?I like red w/red interior.I think red vinyl w/red`n`black houndstooth would look great.

Re: Houndstooth: black & white or black and red?
Exactly my thoughts. This would bring the interior to life rather than dull it down with dark colors.

Re: Houndstooth: black & white or black and red?
Brad, I think I saw in a thread somewhere a really sharp red '68, but I wasn't sure if it was yours or not? I looked back to see if you started a thread about a new truck and didn't see one?? I see it's listed in your sig... how about some pics???

If you look carefully on the board, you'll be able to find the secret pics here, but I want to do a formal introduction and just haven't made the time to do that yet. Soon, very soon...
Ok, I just got a 12 pack today and as it sits right now, I've got 1 beer for each of you that asked. Feel free to come on over anytime-there's really plenty of beer in the fridge!
