Window Tint
I have old window tint on my truck windows, is there an easy way to get it off besides scraping? Thanks

Re: Window Tint
I believe that I bought some spray-on stuff that helped ease the removal, but it still took some scraping to get it off. Without the spray-on stuff, it was more difficult. Check out WallyWorld.

Re: Window Tint
Buddy of mine does tint, pretty sure he's on this board. He says tape a large plastic bag around the window with a little bit of water in it. Put it in the sun for a few minutes and the humidity helps the tint fall off. Then again it is winter right now so maybe if you do it in a couple months that will work . If he see's this maybe he'll correct me if I'm wrong.

Re: Window Tint
I usually just take it to a tint guy and tell him to re-tint the windows that way they have to take off the old tint
There is something about the old tint smell I dont like. |

Re: Window Tint
I wonder if a heat gun would help like how you take off stickers
