Junkyard score
I picked up this new 73-74 take off tailgate last week for $38. Aperently the guy took it off the truck in 1974 when it was new to put a slide in camper. I don't know if its worth much but it was only about a mile from where I work so I figured what the heck.

OEM in that condition it certainly is worth the money you could prolly tripple if not quadruple the investment if sold

One with barely any paint and lots of rust costs between $30-$50 around here, and the trim is extra!
