my new old baby
hi everyone,
here is my 68 custom c-10. i bought it about two years ago and spent all this time working on it. i got some parts from classicparts, from teeitup, de la rosa, mgross, ledzepp, wornbrakes, billsbowtie, and parts from argentina where there was a similar model, build there around the 70s, called "brava" ( the city where i live is salto, uruguay, near concordia, argentina across de uruguay river ) as you may notice, the bed is a little different, it is a fleetside but the lamps are from a stepside...the reason is that these trucks were imported from usa but the beds were build in uruguay by " castro y dobarro" i hope you like my truck. thank you all, the site has been very helpful for me, best regards, arturo |

Defiantly different looking with that box. I like it. If you had that in the states you would get some head scratching for sure.

Welcome to the board. I always like seeing our down south version of our trucks, just so different from here. You have a really nice one!

Re: my new old baby
I'd hate to try to find that tailgate in NOS... for some reason, it reminds me of the rear of a falcon. Cool.

Re: my new old baby
The front end is like American Chevy built but that bed sure is different. Sorta looks like a Dodge fleetside bed from the late fifties with that taillight and fender side bump. It's different but very nice.
