Some times growing up means letting go...
So today I decided that I am going to sell my Blazer...
This has been kind of a time of changes for me, A few days ago my dog was killed... And I'm taking it kind of hard, as well I have been really needing to get a dually that I can use to go make the big bad trip back to Montana to get the rest of my stuff that I have there, 3 cars, my tools, and my household furniture. Its going to be a bit of a process. I found a new truck... I am going to get it or one like it, going to get rid of the blazer and start working on building a house out here. Kind of crazy how things go. But that is life I guess. Just kind of ready to shut this chapter in my life and move on. And yes I know it's a story, but ya know. I'm venting...

That dually is a truck I have wanted all my life, and the great thing is, next pup I get can ride in the back seat on those long road trips up north that way he can stay clean and dry..

I understand where you are comming from in that, Szabu didn't pass on, but the wife took him when we seperated a few months ago. She was in a better position to keep him sence I was moving back to AZ. I miss my pooch too! Getting another puppy is a great idea. When I am ready, I plan on getting another dobie pup! D

I feel your loss, Had a female red dobe for 10 years(real sweetheart, & very protective)......thats been 2yrs ago, & I still miss her. I dont worry about trucks so much anymore....nothing better than a damn good dog! Go get you a good pup to raise....it sure wont be the same , but with time, life moves on. best of luck, crazyL

Sucks about the dog man.
I'd be interested in your old dually once you pull the engine and trans from it. Keep me in mind.

Re: Some times growing up means letting go...
Man that sucks about the pooch. It seems like it wasn't long ago we were talking about how cute a pup he was and you showed me the grown up pics.
Get another one to help the healing.

Re: Some times growing up means letting go...
I will before too long, need to build a new house first though, and a shop. you know how those deals go. When I get another I am getting another puppy, and I want to be able to devote the time to raising him right so I get a good dog.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your dog. It looks like he had a great life, and he will live on in the memories you have of him.
Keep your head up, and best of luck with the changes you are facing. Good luck with the sale of your Blazer!
