LMC Antenna question
i bought this antenna through LMC and it does'nt seem like my old original one. it seems it has more of a slope to it and i think that it would chip the paint once it is tightend down. the part number is 38-1156, it is the "repro-telescopic antenna". What do you guys do for antennas?

Re: LMC Antenna question
I bought an aftermarket for mine (didn't fit real well) and it had an adjustment for the angle. On the one I bought, I had to loosen a screw from the bottem and twist the two angled parts until I got the correct angle.
Yours looks like it has some flattened sides on the top piece. Maybe you can loosen that with a wrench and turn and twist until you get the correct angle. btw: some guys have bought from one of the vendors not sure which one and got the exact replacement antenna. |

Re: LMC Antenna question
I have one that is made by Counterpart....fits perfect. They sell at www.truckandcarshop.com for $40-$50 I got mine from Classicbowties (Mel) here on the board. You can pm him, as he sells them also.

Re: LMC Antenna question
Is there an aftermarket windshield available with an antenna??? I like the idea of a filled cowl panel.
