Not sure, as you most likely already noticed it looks like it is some kind of pressure gauge.

Re: 2wd blazer

Just got back from Phoenix - 150 miles later and my wife and kids where still home, that's a good thing I guess! Anyway, I drove up there very excited and it did not meet my expectations - that may not be his fault, I just thought for $12,900.00 it would be more then what it was. He is the second owner, bought it from his parents neighbor, he has owned it since 95, and it was bought at Rudolph Chevrolet in Phoenix, kinda cool my 72' shorty was bought there and It sill has the sticker on the tailgate. OK, anyway it was originally the "mustard yellow" he had it painted the current red color - actually looks like a pretty good job. Originally 307, with a 3 on the tree - he had it switched out for a 350/400 (i think buy looking at the pan - he wasn't sure). The A/C was aftermarket, under dash with the big compressor. There was some pretty good rust in the pssg/front kick panels where the heater had leaked. No, center console - but all seats looked original and in OK shape. Top looked in excellent condition. He had it parked in his garage so I really only could access the driver side. If I was really going to offer him some $ I would have had him pull it out but I wasn't that serious at his price. So, I would probably say it was a 6.5 to 7 out of 10 and I would think $7500 - $900 0 would be more like it. I did not even mention any offers as I did not want to insult the guy. Since he was the second owner I was hoping he would have the service manual and protecto plate but he didn't, so that may have played into for me.

To answer your ?'s it is a vacuum gauge he had put in.

Am I crazy - is this a good deal cause it is an original AZ 2wd or is $12,900 to much? Let me know what you guys think?

I have been thinking 50th Anniversary truck a lot lately as Jkade knows, but I was thinking it would be AWESOME to make a 50th anniv. 2wd Blazer! 68 front clip, gold and white two tone, etc.. what do you think?

I may call him on Friday and see where he's at. Happy Thanksgiving - Ronnie

Re: 2wd blazer

As you describe it, I think you are right on with your thoughts. 12900 is way high and 7-8k is about right.

Re: 2wd blazer

Oh, They were all home, but she didn't let me in Just messin - she is amazing, and I guess since I have had at least one of these trucks and sometimes up to 5, since she's known me. She knows it is just a package deal!

N2TRUX - thanks, that is what I was thinking and that isn't even considering the market!

Re: 2wd blazer

Wow, I stole my 2wd then. It needs work but not that much and it is a one owner NM Blazer. Again missing some key parts (engine, etc, but for what I payed, I can get it nice for $5-6K and have a cool ride. I'd say $5-7K for it and the second owner deal only jacks the price if it is origianl IMO, the Blazer is changed, swapped out and the original parts (although not very desireable {307/3OTT} they still play to the unmolested part).
