Couple update pics-fitting the box

I set the box on the frame last weekend to check for fit. Next week I'll prep the fenders & steps for painting. My new goal is to take it on the maiden voyage Jan. 1, 2009.

Looks good. I like that color of green. Mines seafoam? It kind of sticks out. Plus my nephew called it Teal.

Re: Couple update pics-fitting the box

I can really appreciate the job you`re doing on this truck.Talk about a "true" restoration. Not your "do whatever it takes to get it shiney and drive it" approach. Many lack the patience and restarint it takes to do such an original restoration.
I`d also appreciate it if you`d give me a heads up before you drop it by my place when you`re done with it.

Re: Couple update pics-fitting the box

Thanks for the comments! I started on this project in 1995 and took a few sabaticals along the way. I can't wait to get it on the road! Just received my Hagarty Insurance Policy this week. Will be going to DMV sometime in December to register the plates. I'm ready to take it for a spin!!
