CAN ANYBODY TELL ME BY THE VIN OFF A 68 C10 IF IS A LONG BED OR SHORT BED THIS IS THE VIN NUMBER CE138Z153718

I am not sure but I don't think so.

If I remember right you will need the model number listed on the SPID sheet on the glove compartment door.

I am sure some else will chime in.

3 (not quite sure, cab and chassis maybe?)

Z built in Fremont California
153718 53718th built on that assembly line at that plant for that model year.

Yes it is a cab and chassie could have it came like that from factory?

you'll need the bed mounts that are rivited to a pick up's frame, but otherwise, they are the same.
