Exclamation rear disc brake brackets for 12 bolt....

a while back a member had said he was working on brackets to be a direct bolt on to the drumbrake 12 bolt rear end (removing drums and bolting the bracket in place) and you could use rear calipers and rotors from a full size GM car........
does any one remember this post, or how i can get in touch with him.

I got a set off of the back of a 77 caddy. You will have to do some work to get them on,but they will fit. I am not sure how well they will work yet because the truck isnt back up and running. The bolt pattern is the same as the truck. The axle flange's have to be turned down enough to fit inside of rotors, and redrill holes in the caliper backing plate to match the axle tubes. Change the proportioning valve at the master cylinder to one from the disk/disk caddy.I think that is about it. Hope this helps!

As far as I can tell, you can use up to 79 Caddy that had a 5 on 5 bolt pattern and a 12" disc
