WTB - Front Axles - 3/4 ton D44
Urgently needed front axles (inner and outer) for a 70-7? 3/4 4x4 with a Dana 44 front end open knucle. Definately need the shorter RH axle, will buy both depending on price, etc. Or...suggestions on where I can purchase these new?

Re: WTB - Front Axles - 3/4 ton D44
There is an entire axle near me for $50...
Is that open or closed knuckle? I think I sold my dana44 spare parts... doesn't ORD have them to order?

Yes Open, meant to say 70-up. If someone can tell me what to purchase for stock replacement from ORD, I can go that route

Re: WTB - Front Axles - 3/4 ton D44
Mark, PM me with a price shipped. I really need these ASAP but will work with your schedule. This is a stock 70-72 D44 3/4 ton front axles. I really don't want to pay ORD prices if I can avoid it.
FYI, I got all packages today and will return one set of knobs. Thanks Jeff

Re: WTB - Front Axles - 3/4 ton D44
The axle shafts should be the same for a D44 whether it is 1/2T or 3/4T. This should open up some more possibilities for replacements as you don't have to find something out of a less common 3/4T. So long as it is a GM D44, you should be good to go.

Re: WTB - Front Axles - 3/4 ton D44
I think the NAPA kit I used didn't have a brass washer but a plastic teflon type...
