Post Need to know what to take off the 88

Hi, I am going to the truck bone yard and I need to know all of the (stuff) needed to change 6 lug to 5 lug with disc.
Do I need the whole front cross member thinggy or just a little?

Take the whole front crossmember, the power steering pump and box, the column, and the shift linkage.You wont need all of it but any of it you need you will have.Also take any brackets or bolts.

Will an '88 front clip work? I know up to '87 works, I dunno bout the '88 ones.

Take your calipers with you and make sure they are the 1.25 rotors.

Best deal, have them cut the frame at the front of the cab and take everything bolted to the frame and crossmember. If nothing else, some of the parts can be used for core charges. Get all the steering components too (Pitman arm on box, drag link, tie rods, steering box, and pump if available).
