Re: Fire truck

Thanks for posting.I love it.But,how do you invest $25,000 in a restoration of a plain low-mile well-maintained heated garage kept rust free truck like that??Were there really less than 1,000 made like that?I`m surprised he didn`t paint the frame while the body was of.All I see is someone shot some black paint from underneath real quick a long time after the exhaust was installed. The transfer case looks untouched.I dunno,it`s a great truck,so why exaggerate, lie,or whatever?
This one cracks me up,"Wil pull your head back in 4-LO". What doesn`t at 2:1 ratio. My wifes anemic Samurai did that. That truck would jerk your head back in 4-LO with 2 dead cylinders. And,when you let off it`ll jerk you forward, too.

I give the truck a 9-(if it`s truly rustfree) and the seller a 3.My guess is it`s rust repaired.Even if it`s all gone, there`s only one rustfree and that`s a vehicle that never had any rust.

Re: Fire truck

This is definitely not a frame off. There are some nice trucks out there for half this price in as good a condition.

Another example of look out for E-Bay vehicles and never buy sight unseen.
