Thinking about selling the Blazer???

Well with the way things are going in our worls today, I can't see me being able to have 2 blazer's. So I guess I'm kicking around the idea of selling the 1972 cst blazer I have. I have a price in my head. what do you guy's think. Do you think there is any chance of selling her now?

Re: Thinking about selling the Blazer???

For the right price anything will sell. It looks great except that small ding in the fender...

Re: Thinking about selling the Blazer???

There are several on the seattle craigslist that haven't been moving and most I think are at reasonable prices. I'd say if you can hold out a few months (like after the bills from Christmas have passed) you'll be able to get a decent price again.

Re: Thinking about selling the Blazer???

I posted my blazer on here for sale earlier this month and within a week had it sold to a fellow board member. While some people are hurting others are still not. As long as you have what someone is looking for at a fair price it should move.

Re: Thinking about selling the Blazer???

I would try to find a driver side fender and door at a junkyard. I think replacing those would help a lot. Most buyers are going to use anything they can to try and get your price down and that much damaged sheet metal is going to intimidate a lot of buyers.

Re: Thinking about selling the Blazer???

I have all the body pieces to fix it already, just didn't take the time to do it yet. Figured I could keep the price down a bit if osmeone else wanted to do the work :-)

Re: Thinking about selling the Blazer???

Fixing the body issues will broaden your buyer pool - there are a lot of people who are intemidated by even removing and replacing a fender.

Re: Thinking about selling the Blazer???

Started working on the blazer today. Put new water pump on and hoses and thermostat. Start on the body next week. See if we can reel in some buyer's.
