Belltech rear sway bar installed

Just finished putting the belltech 5508 rear sway bar on. The instructions showed the bar being install on top of the axle instead of below, but the end links would be way off doing it that way so I just put it under. Truck is stock ride height.

Re: Belltech rear sway bar installed

Thanks guys. On a lowered truck, you'll have to get a shorter bolt and spacer for the endlink.

I had to drill 1/2" holes since my frame had none there.

Re: Belltech rear sway bar installed

I got it from summit for $215. Took about 3 weeks to get it and about an hour to put it on.

Well... since nobody asked, how does it work, as we've already decided it looks nice.

Re: Belltech rear sway bar installed

Justin- Looks good man, i bet it really helps on a stock height truck. Im reminded of my stepper sort of blowing around a bit on the freeway during strong winds!

There is another thread where this one started... It has my review of this bar and some others about handling with the addition of new sway bars. Also some tech help for doin this for the dropped crowd...
