Speaker kick panels don't fit -
I bought a set of speakers/kickpanels for my '67 from Classic Industries, and they don't fit around the vent lever, or the very back where the truck actually curves out a little - I will have to cut them to make them work. Has anyone else had this problem?

Re: Speaker kick panels don't fit -
Could you post a link to a picture or a part #?
That will help me out alot. One thing to remember is that alot of aftermarket pieces will require some trimming and finesse to get to fit perfect. My door panels on my truck took more work than I had ever htought they would...

Re: Speaker kick panels don't fit -
My truck is in the shop right now, but I'll post one when I get it back - the kick panel is formed flat, but the cab wall on the firewall side of the vent goes up straight off the floor, and the roughly 10-12" up, protrudes out about and inch. It looks stock to me. Like I said, I'll post a picture of what I'm talking about.

Acex -
here are a couple of pictures of what I'm talking about. The top of the speaker panel seems like it should curve in. Do I need to trim it or is there one that will fit these dimensions?

Re: Speaker kick panels don't fit -
I trimmed mine near the vent. I also measured where the vent pulls fastened, and drilled holes in the kick panel for them. I also glued a small block of wood to the back side of the panels so I could tighten up the panels to keep them from rattling. I will get up and take a couple pics in a bit
