Cheap?

I'd like to find a cheap 1t engine crane and a cheap 1t rotisserie engine stand. All help appreciated. Also, what is the best place to find/buy a cheap BBC?

Re: Cheap?

You asked for cheap. I know you asked for 1 T. It's $30 less than this one.

Harbor Freight

NC is a big state. I don't know where your town is, but here's the list of retail locations in your state:

http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta..._stores.taf#NC

They also have engine stands.

Remember, you get what you pay for. Be careful and don't expect too much. (I have their engine stand. It's crap, but I don't build a lot.)

Re: Cheap?

I was hoping for something cheaper than HF. OH well. I'll just have to deal with it. Or make an A frame out of 6x6 wood...

Re: Cheap?

I'd get one of these & Im not trying to be a smart a$$. Im just saying if you are converting to a BBC, you probably wont find a cheap one & these engines are VERY good for the price.

Re: Cheap?

I don't know what your plans are for the truck but big blocks less than 500 cubic inches are cheap used. check www.racingjunk.com or I do know where you can get a cheap low mileage stock 454.
