69 chevy trk - Wheel Dimensions from hub to hub with stoc tire
How many inches is it from the outter edge of the front tire to the other outter edge? I'm going to rent a car dolly to haul the truck from texas to VA. The truck has big tires that come to 79 inches. I'm hoping the stock tires will get me to a smaller number that will fit a uhaul car dolly.
Thanks |

I don't think U-haul will give to to you for a truck. They claim nothing fits anything and nothing can tow anything.
All joking aside, (You'll probably see what I'm talking about) I am unable to help on the actual measurments...but I have been told that there are no comercial dollys that will propperly acomaidate our trucks. Have you thought about using a tow bar? |

Car Dolly
Thanks for your reply. I went to uhaul yesterday and you are right. The car dolly is to small. I did find a trailer manufacturer who makes the dollies wide enuf' for all vehicles including our trucks. It cost 695. I'm thinking if I'm going to spend that kind of money then I mite as well buy a car trailer -something that I've always wanted. The trailer cost 695-895.
