Can the weights be swapped off of a diesel one to a gas one? If so, I've got a gas one sitting on my workbench.

May be possible. Unfortunately whomever built the tranny currently in my diesel, used a gas governor. So I don't even have weights.

Thanks though!

I just called BowTie Overdrives and you are right about the diesel governors. They have heavier weights than the gas versions.

They have a few in stock and go for $35. I live about 5 miles from their shop if you need me to pick one up for you.

Thanks Fellas! I ended up finding a new ACDelco one on Ebay from a seller in LA. So its a win-win for me!
