Gasoline quality
Edelbrock 1904 wasn't cheap. Are there any add to the tank type fuel system cleaners that ya'll recommend? Any other maintenance tips other than disassemble and clean?

I dont understand. Are you looking for something you can pour into your gas tank to help keep your system clean? If so I dont know I dont use them.
What you should do is add an inline filter to your new carb. I dont like the filter on the Q-Jets so I put on before it. So its double filtered which you really dont need but atleast you can remove/replace/clean the inline filter and not have to touch the one in the carb. Im scared that Ill strip the threads or break something on the front of that carb. I have never had good luck with them. When I ordered my 1904 Edelbrock Q-Jet from Jegs the filter inlet was stripped and leaked everywhere when I started it. They reaplced it for free, but thats one more reason Im not touching that filter. When I give my truck a tune up (oil, plugs, check timing etc.) I spray some carb cleaner on & in the carb. Mike also has a 1904 and keeps his sh*t souppa clean. Maybe he will have some good tips for you. You better check his site first though, or he will get really mad. j/k
