More info on a few Magazine Trucks
Wsup folks. I was thumbing through some different magazines I have and wondered if anyone knew where I could find more information on a few of 'em. I'll try to be as detailed as I can so you can locate them and hopefully tell me where I can find more information on them if possible. TIA.
1st up...Richard Navarro's Red '68- appears on page 48 of Custom Classic Trucks January 2009 issue, also appears on page 245 of February 2004 issue of Truckin'. Jeff Frank's '70- Black/Silver/Flames- appears in Feb. '09 issue of Classic Trucks on pg. 61. L. Hickey's '72- Red/White- appears on in Feb. '09 issue of Classic Trucks on pg. 62. (same as above) Rick and Doreen Shandro's '72(?) Blue/Silver, as well as Geoff Mitchell and Debbies Haye's '70 Green C-10 appears in magazine same as above on pg. 64. Also...in the Jan. '09 issue of Custom Classic Trucks there is a pull out calendar. It features: January- Steve Lockln, Black '67 June- Jphn Garcia, Red '67 July- Mike Curtis, Red/White '71 August- Quinton Bryant, Green (not sure of the year)...interested in to know the particular color. If anyone is wondering how I know their names it's because they're all printed in the respective magazine. Some of them have odd spellings but I just spelled it how they're spelled in the publication. These trucks have a clean style that I like and any additional information is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for the help. |

Re: More info on a few Magazine Trucks
Three of the others are on that page in the link that you posted. Not sure I can find any pictures TO post other than taken a snap of the magazine pages and posting them up here. Just hoped some of y'all had the mags and knew the info. Maybe if some have the mags, another few will recognize the trucks and post up. Might try pics tomorrow.

Re: More info on a few Magazine Trucks
I think this one here http://www.classictrucks.com/events/.../photo_14.html is the old ECE truck which now belongs to Hickey. Boardmember Seeten took some real nice pics of it.

Re: More info on a few Magazine Trucks
Well I guess that covers those four, or at least that the pictures can be found easily. I wish I could see more than the exterior aesthetics though. We'll see if anyone can come up with any more information. I still appreciate the help so far. Keep it coming.

Re: More info on a few Magazine Trucks
The truck I shot belongs to Ronnie Loyd. Ronnie's pickup is the old ECE pickup. Note that it has buckets where the previously pictured truck has a bench seat and a bedcover. Still a sweet pickup...just not the same one.
