Saddle tanks anyone

Having read every thread/post and searched the archives on this subject I can not fine the information I need. If anyone has pictures, specifications or any information on the saddle tanks that were a dealer option on the 67-72 C-10,the ones that were filled from the rear wheel well, I would be very appreceative if you could post any information. I wish to have a pair fabricated to fit my 70 CST fleetside short bed.

this is on a long bed. it wouldn't be that difficult to have one made for a short bed though.

Re: Saddle tanks anyone

They came two different ways, they had the "diamond" conversion which had the filler doors cut into the side of the bed. There was another set that were popular as well, they were made of green fiberglass, and filled through the wheel well. I just got rid of both types, wish I woulda took some pics.
