quick question

im new to the s10s. had one in high school but never really messed with it. been building cars and trucks for ever with my dad. my question is can i use a 4cyl trans behind a 4.3 if i change the bell housing? is the bell housing able to be changed? thanks.

iirc the bellhousing isnt able to changed which means it will not be able to be used and if was able to i wouldnt recommend it anyway, i wouldnt see if having a very long lifespan behind a 4.3

If you have a 5 spd, yes you can change the bellhousing and use it with a 4.3 or 350. The s10 t-5 has a very low first gear though. Here is a thread with some good infohttp://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=313954
