Re: WTB 69-72 Truck Driver brackets for Bucket seats

maybe someone with a set, would be willing to make a template for the driver seat. I was thinking that the driver and passenger side brackets were the same for truck buckets.

The left and right side 69-72 truck bucket tracks/mounting brackets are different from one another.

Re: WTB 69-72 Truck Driver brackets for Bucket seats

Some time back board member Tom Hand had some information on how to make the drivers side brackets using bench seat tracks.

Re: WTB 69-72 Truck Driver brackets for Bucket seats

Thanks all for posting. I found a set from a board member. That is what makes this place so great. Even with hard to find items, sharing a common thread: a love of Chevy/GMC trucks, we seem to always have eachothers' backs.

Thanks Classic Bowties for the helpful pics.

And thank you Donald. I'll get the money order out tomorrow.

Just for everyones info, a set of bucket seats out of a Buick Park Avenue fit perfectly into these trucks, you only have to drill two holes.

Re: WTB 69-72 Truck Driver brackets for Bucket seats

Thanks for the info and I will keep that in mind. I have also seen brackets on EBay. I have the console and am just now searching for some seats in my area (Vancouver WA). I do not want to pay $100+ just to have some shipped to me. There is a huge swap meet going on right now in Portland, OR at the Expo center. I am afraid to go because I know I would spend money.

Re: WTB 69-72 Truck Driver brackets for Bucket seats

I saw a set of truck seats and brackets at the swap meet yesterday. They are at PIR not to far in to the left from the main entrance.. If I recall they were asking $250.00 the foam looked good.
