Question automatic column shifter

The black old plastic piece is loose is there anything I can do to it? Like throw it away and get cooler non stock one?

I put a dab of rtv in mine and shoved it back on. Worked great!

fill it up with hot glue, push it on all the way, then QUICKLY get the accsess off, do this all the time with shifter knobs, works great, they never come off.
