Stupid gas tank question
I have been searching and reading for a few days now, and I can't find the answer to moving the tank under the bed of a '72 P/U.
Can you use one of the blazer / suburban tanks and fill it through the bed floor without having to cut a hole in the fender? |

Re: Stupid gas tank question
You would probably have to modify the filler neck of the blazer tank. I am not sure that you could get it to thru the bed floor without a sever angle in the filler tube.

Re: Stupid gas tank question
Yes.It's easier with a LWB but IIRC it can be done with a SWB.You have to move/remove a crossmember. Many use a boat style filler in the bed floor.

Re: Stupid gas tank question
I have a picture in my sons 67 build thread... This is not a blazer tank but the same small crossmember had to be removed for placement
