iv read alot of threads which state that the thickness of the bushings are different? can some one please explain this?

I think there is a difference from 2wd to 4wd

I have heard otherwise, In fact I bought some for my 4x4, vendor told me they were all the same, sure hope so as I havnt installed yet

When I was doing the 68 front clip onto my 72 burb, i had remembered talk of core support bushings. I cracked open my parts illistration catalog (LMCrap) and they listed the same p/n for all 6 years.
I used the stock 3/4 ton original 72 pieces, and it all went together fine.
Is there in fact 2 p/n for core support bushings?

The core support bushings on a 67/68 are more like rubber washers. You can use the 69-72 style but it is necessary to shim the front cab supports a bit to get it all to line up properly. I have not seen that the original type for a 67/68 are even available.

i think im going to cut my urathane ones into 1/4" slices with the old band saw,and use them accordingly. my gaps are WAY off with a whole bushing in there.

Breeh is correct and Ernest (Otsenre) and I took apart an original 67 C20 clip off a frame of his a couple weeks back. They are totally different from the 69-72's I have took apart as they are just a 1/4 inch thick rubber like a piece of tire size bushing sandwiched between the frame and the support. If I remember right on Ernest's support it had the rubber piece against the support, then a large maybe 1.25" steel washer on top of the frame. Since then I looked at a couple more of my 67's and it is pretty easy to tell it is tight between the frame and the radiator support. My 71-72's all are 1/2 to 3/4" between the frame and the support. So like green machine says, if its a 72 frame, I can still use the 69-72 supports with the 68 front clip I am adding. Thats a relief

They are totally different! 67-68 takes one style and 69-72 takes a diffrent style! That is why some of you guys aftermarket sheetmetal will not fit! LOL!! Just kidding but they are diffrent. I do have both with hardware in stock. Let me know if I can help you. Thanks Tim

Just the frame, right? I can use the 69-72 supports on my 72 frame with a 68 clip, right?

Okay, so what's the price for the complete 1968 cab/core support mounting kit? I need the bushings and hardware for the core support and front and rear cab mount. I wasn't able to find it on your web site. Plus shipping to 92126 area.

No you must use a 67-68 Rad. mount kit with a 67-68 front end or it will set up to high if you use the 69-72 rad mount kit.
