Hood Problems
Hey guys,
I'm having some problems with my hood, one of the bolt holes is striped out on my hood all of the threads are gone. So i only have 3 bolts holding the hood on and i'm worried about stripping the other one on that side out. It was this way when I bought the truck and i'm interested in fixing this problem. Any ideas??? thanks for the help. ian |

Re: Hood Problems
Howzabout a heli-coil?
Or, drilling & retapping? That's about all I can think right off the top of my noggin this time of day.

Re: Hood Problems
when i broke the anchor nuts that were in my 79 ranchero i just welded in some nuts, but the studs would prolly be your best and easiest way to do it.
