just got a 81 crew cab

i just traded for a 81 crew cab 3/4 ton and i want to build a 1/2 ton short wheel base i know there are threads on here but i can seem to find them on were to cut both of the rear frame's and stuff and what all do i need to change the front end to 1/2 ton thanks for any info

frank i will just as soon as i start on it i looked at ojoes but didnt see were it said were to cut and how much

I Used the Info on a 86 3/4 ton Crew stepper that im currently building, Here are a Couple Pics of my Project...........

thanks tomanytoyz so on the front end i can keep the cross member and just use the 1/2 ton upper and lower a arm's and spindles and again thanks guys
