Please Help!!

My 73 Chevy has been acting up. It decided it didnt want to run anymore. I have changed the rotor bug (Still points system) and i got it to start and it idles pretty rough and then dies.. you have to keep cranking over and over and it tries to run again but wont start let it sit and try again and will fire and idle rough for min or two then die... could this be a fuel problem maybe? i had the gaskets in the carb changed out but i dont think the jets were ever touched when they changed them...any advice??

Re: Please Help!!

HotRod: Check your coil. I had a '73 with the same problem and when I pulled the coil wire, there was rust build-up inside. Swapped out the coil and problem was solved. Worth a quick look.
