Tilt Hood Question
I wanna install a tilt hood on my 69. I have heard of using the hinges off of a buick with a tilt hood. Please post some pics and any idea you have that might help me with this install. Thanks.

Re: Tilt Hood Question
There are a couple of builds on this site that show almost step by step on how to do it. A gentleman by the name Rokcrln wrote a piece on it just about everything you want to know...the hinges come off of a mid 80s early 90s Buick Lesabre only as far as i can tell... i've looked all overhere (atlanta area) and found zip!

Re: Tilt Hood Question
My oldest son has an '89 Buick Park Avenue that has the hinges you want. Yeah, he's still driving it, so you can't have HIS hinges. I got first dibs on those.
Anyway, 87-91 Buick Electra, Park Avenue and '87-92 LeSabre all have the hood that tilts forward from the rear. You pull the hood forward about 6 inches, then grab the rear of the hood and lift it up.
