My first C-10, 1971 Cheyenne
Hello.... I just bought my first c-10... its a 1971 Chevrolet Cheyenne. I am very excited about getting started. The gentleman I bought the truck from had started a wood bed conversion on it but never finished. I am not ready to do a complete restoration on the truck and am looking for just some lumber to install in the bed to make it functional. I just can't afford another 500 for new wood right now... i need the truck to be functional for now. Any ideas?
BTW.. Great Forum... New member, bt have found several post helpful already. Thanks Last edited by Longhorn Man; 02-25-2009 at 11:02 PM. Reason: removed WTB parts |

Welcome to the board from sunny Seattle, WA! There is a very good link to the exact bed wood dimensions on GMCPaul's website. He is a board member and has published the exact dimensions if you want to make your own boards. Check it out...and good luck!

i dont know how old you are..but if it were me, I'd be heading down to see my woodshop teacher in highschool, and using his machine for a few minites to dress up some wood to put in that bed..
but then..im still in highschool..AND i paid my coursefee welcome from the great white north!
