1SIK69 build....
Ok I started this a few weeks ago. It is coming along slowly but surely. Between work and waiting on parts and the weather. I have a deadline of 18 March to get it on the road for Tex Mex in Somerville,Tx. Here are some pics of what I have so far.

Re: 1SIK69 build....
Here is some bad I pulled the windshield and glass yesterday and found some cancer. The area around the bad window is pretty much immaculate. I don't think it is too bad for a 40 year old truck.

Re: 1SIK69 build....
Some of my plans are 22's laying rockers. Repaint the motor with all that billet. Smooth firewall. Leather buckets and console. Raise bed floor above notches so I dont have to cut the floor. Calicombo with LEDs in the roll pan. Frenched in tag bucket. Phantom billet grill, tilt hood, 4 inch chop top, Eventually tubular control arms and Z the frame.

Re: 1SIK69 build....
Well today I got the 5 lug stuff bolted up in the front. When I cut the fender the wheels are gonna tuck nice. I am running drop spindles and cut lowers, I think I still have a lot of travel before the control arms bottom out.

Re: 1SIK69 build....
Ok here is what I got done today. Me and my buddy pulled the front end off and yanked out the motor and tranny for some fresh paint and new seals on the tranny. I took some pics without jack stands to see how she was gonna lay out. What do yall think? I know the firewall looks nasty. I am gonna smooth her out before I install the motor and tranny.

Re: 1SIK69 build....
Did not do much to it today except started stripping the candy red paint off the motor. Grrrrrrr. I am looking for a Edelbrock intake and carb before I drop the motor back in. I have like less than 3 weeks to finish this damn thing.

Re: 1SIK69 build....
Thanks bro. Still trying to figure out how much room I am gonna have for the fuel cell. I don't want it sticking out over the bed rails. I guess I will see when the time comes to put the bed on. I may have to recess the fuel cell in the bed. I hope not though. We will see.

this is what we did over the weekend. Lowers and a crossmember. Kinda working back and forth between the rear set up and stripping the firewall.
