Pretty Cool. If I had that kind of money I would buy it in a minute. Going to a good cause also.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Stacey David's Copperhead FOR SALE on EBAY!!!

I'd have to say, that pickup is probably one of the most well known or recognizeable 67-72 chevrolets in existence. The few people that I know that have had any interaction with Stacy say that he is a genuine nice guy. Donating a portion of the proceeds to charity is also commendable. It'll be interesting to see how the auction does.

Well said... Stacy seems like a genuine car guy, and will talk with anyone that shares his interest.

If I was Stacey I would have auctioned it off at Barrett-Jackson either the one in Arizona or the one coming up in Florida. People go insane for charity bids at Barrett-Jackson.

Question,if the average guy built that same truck how much do you think he could get for it.And I also remember seeing that truck being built on tv,which was one of my inspiration.

Re: Stacey David's Copperhead FOR SALE on EBAY!!!

Beautiful truck, great build. The one thing disappointing about the build was when they finished the chassis, and were ready for the cab, it was like "ok, lets put the cab on" If I remember correctly, it was delivered from the body shop ready to set. They completely skipped repairing and prepping the cab. If they had shown the cab prep detail, I think it would have made a much more interesting build show. But that was a popular build and it turned out nice. Just my $.02

Now that is a 50k dollar truck unlike most of the trucks you see in that price range...

Most all his parts are donated as well as the labor I seriously doubt he builds the projects by himself as most of us do. He probably has close to a hundred grand in the truck if he had to pay for everything.very nice truck though.

I'm sure that they started with the most flawless and rust free of cabs...so there would not be any cutting and welding in the rust repair department. That would be nice, wouldn't it?

How nice would it be to buy it and have him include all the episodes of the build on DVD.

Well look at it this way guys, the STARTING bid is 50,000 it has no buy it now option and the reserve has not been met! Which means that that truck will go for alot more than 50,000...that is just crazy but if i did have the cash i'd bid...lol

Re: Stacey David's Copperhead FOR SALE on EBAY!!!

I am not downing stacey at all. I do not know him. But he is not the one who built the truck. It started out for Dave Clack the former owner of Early Classic Enterprises. He shipped all the parts out to have it built on the show. People from all over did that truck. Then Stacey bought it from Dave. He lost money on the truck if he sold it for that. That is just my opinion. Jason
