A pic stuffed intro thread
Right, so I'm not sure How I should introduce myself, but here it goes.My name is Blake, I'm a high schooler, I know next to nothing about cars, althogh since I received my truck for my birthday I have been trying to learn as much as I can about these trucks and automotive in general. The truck is a 1967 GMC K25. I don't know alot about it, though I do have the build sheet... er, well most of it that is. I know that it was originally equipped with a V6 but it was replaced with an I6, it's a four on the floor manual truck (obviously) and it has a winch that was also added sometime before purchasing the truck.
Onto the pics On it's way home, still covered in moss (horrible cell pic) Aw yeah, Gun rack Those damned arm rests I don't know why this is here or if it has power, but I don't mind it under the hood The only bit of cancer on here (that I know of that is) does anybody know what that K&H thing is next to the steering wheel? Re: A pic stuffed intro thread
Thanks guys, I appreciate it, I'll probably be coming here alot for help, and big blazer boy, I'm not sure yet. I have a new fuel sending unit that I'm waiting to put in, and then the brakes need to be worked, then I'll probably end up waiting till summer before I do any serious work the body or interior. I've been throwing around some ideas but I want to wait until I have more of an idea of what i want and some more knowledge.

Re: A pic stuffed intro thread
Welcome to the board from Kent, WA. Nice truck...1967 4x4 with a winch no less!!!! I would have killed for that truck when I was in HS! Nothing would have stopped my hunting and fishing escapades! I grew up on the East side of Portland and spent alot of time in the woods with a 2x4...what a pain!

Steve, you know you shouldn't be trying to buy stuff as an unsubscribed member.
2fat... welcome to the board, you've found the single best place for info and sources for parts on these trucks. Your GMC has some interesting bits... the custom badges on the fenders are a one year only, and a fairly rare package on the early GMC trucks. As for the "M&H thing" under the dash, that is an old trailer brake control box. |

Re: A pic stuffed intro thread
Welcome...again.Like I said before, you actually have a pretty rare truck. There wouldn`t have been many `67 K2500 Customs and your`s is still a solid original.Someone knew what they were doing in`67 when they ordered that truck. There are hundreds of thousands of these trucks, but the special order trucks stand out.Take care of her.

Re: A pic stuffed intro thread
Welcome Blake! Hope you learn from the gang here. One way to start your education (at least on these trucks)is to read thru the FAQ's poages and look thru the Builds forum. Both will be informative and can give you lots of ideas on your truck.
