Help a Newbie!! 20's how low

I posted it in suspention but maybe I can get a quicker answer here..

here's the short version
I can grab a set of 20's cheap and found a 71 C10 SWB Stepside in decent shape...how low can I drop it (I was thinking air ride) I was going to cut one loop off the front and put jeep springs ( I have these) in the back for a quick drop (I can get thru that in a day) but then will gather the parts for air if it's worth it. I want to use the OEM front end and don't mind "adjusting" the front inners but need to keep them and a C notch isn't a big deal

this is going to be a low budget Rat rod that wil be a DD and go to my nephew next year and just want to make it kool and give him a good base line

it seems like the 2600 bags are the ones of choice anyone have any pics of them installed so I can copy the hardware for them front and rear

thanx
Jeff

Static -- 4" front 6" rear
I recommend bags though. And, make sure the lug pattern on the wheels matches up.

Re: Help a Newbie!! 20's how low

it's in there but it's a 70 on a 71 frame with 5 lug pattern

I did some more ssearching and it looks like ( from what I read) they will fit in the back. The wheels came off an Impalla and the back space I beleive is 5" ......
now I just need to figure out if I need to C notch and pocket the A arms neither are a big deal I just don't want to change the A arms $$$$ alos what needs to be done to clear the front inners

I think I know the answer but will this thing turn with out hitting the fender up front???
