Re: WTB NOS Ventshades
I am referring to the piece that goes across the top of the door and is held on with clips that go behind the window channel. I'll see if I can find a picture.

Re: WTB NOS Ventshades
When I had the roof of my C10 painted I let em throw out the set that was on it. They looked perfect...I didn't even think about saving em.
Sorry |

I have a set of those I'll get you a picture of them. I don't think I have the clips I thought they just went up inside the channel.

Re: WTB NOS Ventshades
They need the clips to hold them in place. These pop up on ebay now and again.

Re: WTB NOS Ventshades
I have these and I didn't have the clips that I can remember but I took them off a long time ago though so they may have had them at some point but who knows where they are now. I'll take $25.00 + shipping if your interested in them.

Re: WTB NOS Ventshades
Andy, thanks for the offer, but I really want some new ones. I have an old set here that have atleast 1 or 2 broken clips. Thanks.
Ken(CheySuper8) I will check and see if anyone still selling them. I wasn't sure if this type was still being made. Thanks, Ray

Re: WTB NOS Ventshades
I have a brand new pair from a GM dealer that closed down in the box. If you have any interesting trades PM me. I was going to use on my nice 68, depending on trade or 60 dollars cash.

Re: WTB NOS Ventshades
Is there any difference in the aftermarket? Are they made by the same supplier to GM back in the day?

Re: WTB NOS Ventshades
Truthly I never knew GM sold them, I thought everyone got them from Venstshade as being a aftermarket item back in the day. Learned something today
GMC AMI, I will pm you Bill(Pickupman) do you carry these? are you referring to Ventshade as aftermarket versus GM? Thanks, Ray

Re: WTB NOS Ventshades
Ray, I do not know if GM sold them as an option but in 84 I purchased some thru a Chevy dealer. I have only seen the "Ventshade" brand in 28 years of having the disease for theses trucks. Mike.

Re: WTB NOS Ventshades
www.Ventshade.com shows they still make them, part number 12058. They have a dealer lookup on the website as well.

Re: WTB NOS Ventshades
Thanks GSFMECH, I found them. I looked for their website before and couldn't find it. Looks like they are around $40 on the average.
